Fort Ivern — before Cinderella / the final fog
The most commonly reached lettered ending of BLACK SOULS — the natural first-cycle conclusion if you finish the princess route and walk into the fog alone.

How to get it
No spoilers
- First-cycle target. Finish the opening quest: reach Fort Ivern and resolve the demonic princesses.
- Touch the final fog yourself. Taking a maxed companion instead yields that companion's ending.
- If every A-End condition is also true, the game awards A instead of B.
Hints — locations and requirements, no plot
- Resolve Rapunzel, Snow White, Little Mermaid and Princess Frog (kill or covenant, any order), then defeat Cinderella inside Fort Ivern.
- Invitation to Atlantica is in Snow White's castle (2nd floor) and is needed to reach the Little Mermaid.
- Desert Rose (Helsa Desert, south of Behemoth Ranch) is required for a Rapunzel covenant.
- Snow White's covenant requires killing the other three princesses — you cannot covenant all four at once.
- Do not take a level-99 companion into the fog if you want B.
Full steps — plot spoilers
- 1.From Holy Forest, open Behemoth Ranch → Jacob's Disused Mine → Gothel's Tower for Rapunzel. Kill or covenant (Desert Rose, and do not confess killing Monster Behemoth if covenanting).
- 2.From Helsa Desert, reach Garden of Snow / Snow White's castle. Pick up Invitation to Atlantica upstairs, then resolve Snow White in the basement.
- 3.Use the invitation at Empty Beach to enter Atlantica and resolve Little Mermaid (covenant costs a companion sacrifice — Leaf respawns).
- 4.From Great Wilhelm Bridge after Helkaiser's rematch, drop into Tainted Bog and resolve Princess Frog (covenant costs 30 levels).
- 5.Return to Fort Ivern, go north, defeat Cinderella, and touch the fog yourself. Save first if you also want a companion ending from a reload.
